Recently I was asked about the significance of the trapezoid. I just wanted to share some brief comments; Feng Shui (pronounced "fong shway") is a Chinese philosophy about the relationship between humans and their environment. It is about how everything is connected and affects your well-being. Based on the laws of nature, its theories offer us a way of understanding why certain things occur and how to create a comfortable environment that lets us live and work efficiently and progressively. As a science, Feng Shui suggests the way buildings are structured effects the way energy flow is directed and balanced. Attention to design is said to be crucial to success! That's why Donald Trump recruited a feng shui expert when he had The Trump Tower built. True story, folks. Older houses, especially here in New England, still have trapezoidal shaped roofs - some are said to be haunted. The reason for this? It is believed trapezoidal shaped roofs trap and accumulate psychic energy. When magicians combine their spiritual essence (as in a triumvirate), they are said to have three times more power than three magicians working independently.
